1. Bible Reading Program:   We are "Reading Through the Bible in One Year" by utilizing the Bible Project's reading plan called "One Story that Leads to Jesus". 23 of us are on this journey together. We just started the book of Deuteronomy. It is never too late to start. If you have not done so, join our group using the linktree link.

2. Spiritual Forge: Beginning in March 2025, we will start a Spiritual Discipline group called the “Spiritual Forge”. The group will meet monthly on the first Sunday of the month from 8:45-9:45. The commitment is 5 months from March-July, so 5 times. 

Spiritual forge is a journey of sanctification where we are being shaped by the Holy Spirit to become more like Jesus. The process can be challenging, but the training of godliness holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come. We will be using the "Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life: Study Guide" by Donald Whitney. 

To make sure that you will have the required study guide prior to our first meeting, please sign up by Sunday 2/23. The early bird discount for those who sign up by Sunday 2/23 is $5 per person. The church will cover the rest of the cost. Those who sign up after 2/23 will have to purchase the study guide themselves. Registration can be accessed with the QR code on the slide, or sign up from our Linktree.

3. Baptism and Membership: Are you thinking of getting baptized as a public confession of your commitment to follow Christ and join Arise Church as a member? There is a baptism ceremony planned for Easter Sunday, April 20. Please contact Pastor Caleb if you are interested to learn more. If you were already baptized in another church and see Arise Church as your spiritual home, we invite you to join church membership. There will be a membership ceremony during the Easter worship service. Please contact Pastor Caleb for details. 

4. Street Ministry: Our street ministry team will head out to visit our street neighbors again on Sat Feb 22. As you may notice, many of our street neighbors have moved away with the new city ordinance but there are still a few of them around. We will continue to serve them as long as there are still RV's parked along side of Christy while we still have the opportunity. Meet at church at 11:15am if you would like to join. 5.  Worship All Hands:  Our Worship Ministry is planning an all-hands meeting on Sunday Feb 23. The goal is to get the whole team including worship, sound & tech team, MCs, Greeters together to realign and re-commit, and learn about worship together. Lunch is provided. If you are involved in any way in our worship ministry please plan to join us. If you are interested to learn more about serving in worship you are welcomed too. Please let leaders know if you can join.

6.  Praise Night: There will be a praise night in Cantonese on March 8 at 7:30pm. You are invited to experience an evening of praise and prayer.
