1. Mission Month: September is Mission Month. 9/13 is Mission Sunday. We will have a combined worship service in the sanctuary.

There will be 3 sharing sessions by missionaries and the short-term missions team. Lunch will be provided for the sharing sessions after service on Sundays, Sept 13th and 27th. Snacks will be provided on the Sept 19 Saturday sharing. Attendees must sign up. Please sign up at the back table or online on our LinkTree.

2. Mission Service Team: On Saturday mornings, our community outreach efforts will be expanded from the parents of the Chinese school to Arise people and their families, neighbors, and other community members. We are currently recruiting a "Mission Service Team" from September to December to handle Coffee Corner and table tennis. The service team is not just about volunteering; it is also a Christian response to God's command to show love and compassion and bear witness. If you can participate on Saturday mornings, please sign up in the lobby outside the sanctuary.

3. Community Outreach Arise Zone: The following activities are open to all; registration is required, and they are free. All programs are held at church on Saturday mornings. You are welcome to attend and invite friends, neighbors, and colleagues. For details regarding the date and time, please refer to this registration form(Chinese).

• The Parenting Children class (4 sessions conducted in Cantonese):
  Parenting is no longer difficult! This practical course covers building a solid foundation, healthy family life, meeting children's needs, and the five love languages.
  Format: Short videos, experience sharing, and practices.
  Target Audience: Parents or guardians of children aged 0-10.
• Runners
  Helping you take that first step with ease! Welcome to join our running group to learn, practice, and start running together. Enjoy running, develop good habits, and improve your physical and mental health.
  Goal: Participate in the "Oakland Turkey Trot — 2026 Thanksgiving Day 5K Run & Walk" on November 26th
  Target Audience: Adults, suitable for beginner to intermediate levels
  Content: How to prepare for the first step, developing a training schedule, stretching exercises, and group discussion
• Table Tennis
  Want to play ping pong? Join us and show off your skills on the ping pong table.
  Content: Take turns playing against those present.
  

4. Little Star Sunday School : The Sunday school, specially designed for children aged 3 to 5 years old, will start on 9/6 and will be held every Sunday during worship time in Room 106. It is suitable for children from TK to Kindergarten.
