1. Church closed on Aug 9: On Sunday, August 9, most congregations will worship at the summer camp, and there will be no English and youth in-person service at the Fremont location. However, there will be a pre-recorded Cantonese worship service on Zoom. Check out the Zoom link in the Friday church email. 

2. 2026 Arise Summer Camp updates: Summer Camp: August 7-9 (Friday-Sunday) at Redwood Christian Park. Please pray for the safety of the 129 brothers and sisters (102 adults, 21 teenagers, and 6 children) going to and leaving the camp, and ask for God's blessings and the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon all participants.

Participants, please note:

• Check-in Time for Friday is 4:00-5:30 PM, 6:30-7:15 PM, or 9:45-10:00 PM
• Dinner Time: 5:30-6:30 PM
• Friday Evening Activities: 7:30-10:00 PM
• For accommodation arrangements and other matters, please check the lobby bulletin board or the church emails. If you need a hard copy of the driving directions, please pick one up in the lobby.
• Please sign the liability waiver agreement as soon as possible. Sign-up for archery, talent shows, and Saturday afternoon Cantonese workshop will continue today. 

3. Graduation Dinner: Arise Celebrates our High School and up Graduates at our Graduation Dinner on Saturday, August 1, 2026. Doors open at 6pm, dinner and program at 7pm.  The event is free for Graduates and families, and anyone aged 11 and under. Cost is $15 for anyone 12 and up. Please sign up by July 26 for our preparation.

4. Graduation & Promotion Sunday:  Congratulations to the church’s graduates and promoted children. At the end of next Sunday’s service on 8/2, we will walk over to the sanctuary and congratulate them in a short ceremony.

5. Kids Against Hunger: More than 80 people participated in food packing last Saturday morning (7/18). Thanks to everyone who participated; we prepared 19,300 meals for children in Venezuela.

6. Arise Summer Program: K-12 children and youth are welcome to join this summer's fun-filled activities! The required grade level varies for each class; please refer to the registration form for details.  Register Now!

7. Youth Group in Summer: During the summer holiday season, the youth group will have special gatherings scheduled at various times and locations. Please email info@arisechurch.us if you are interested in joining. We look forward to spending a meaningful and refreshing summer together!

8. TGIF: Summer is here. Our college and young adults will meet up at church on Fridays for dinner, topical study, and hang out time. Doors open at 7pm. Please invite your friends to join us.

9. Summer table tennis activity: You are welcome to participate in the summer table tennis activity on Saturday mornings during the summer holiday.
