4. Cambodia Short-Term Missions Team Fundraising Event: Thank you for your generous donations; we have already exceeded our fundraising goal. To continue the spirit of service of the short-term mission team, the craft sale and car wash after worship on Sunday, May 3rd will continue. We welcome your donations to support the short-term mission team.
5. Church Front Yard Cleanup Day: Following the service on May 3, the church is seeking a large number of volunteers to help trim, remove, and clear away vines and bushes in the front yard to improve hygiene and safety on the church grounds. People of all ages are welcome to participate! If you are able to help, please bring your own tools (e.g., scissors, cutters, saws, shovels, electric shears, wheelbarrows, etc.). Please also bring your own mask, gloves, long-sleeved work clothes, and a hat. Please sign up at the registration table located outside the main sanctuary. For any inquiries, please contact the Facilities Department.
6. Prayer Experience Day: May's Prayer Experience Day features a "Labyrinth," a devotional tool used in medieval European churches, symbolizing the pilgrimage to Jerusalem. It is similar to a maze; it appears winding and circuitous, but there is actually a clear path. Through walking, meditating, and praying, one can reflect on life and purify the soul.
Date: May 23 (Saturday) 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Location: St. Anne’s Episcopal Church Garden (2791 Driscoll Rd, Fremont). Registration is required outside the sanctuary. Participants must drive themselves to the venue.
*Note: The activity originally scheduled for April 26 (Sunday) has been moved to May.
7. Cambodia Short-Term Mission Clothing Donation: Short-term mission team needs summer or autumn clothing, boys or girls, to give to local teenagers and young adults. Clothing must be clean, including T-shirts, jackets, trousers, etc. We don't need shoes. Please place the clothing in the designated room in the office between May 1st and May 31st. Team members will donate any surplus or unsuitable clothing to other organizations. If you wish to get back your clothing, please write your name on the bag.
